From Rio de Janeiro
About 4 hours by car along the Rio–Santos highway (BR-101), with ocean views most of the way. Fly into GIG or SDU.

From São Paulo
About 5 hours by car via Rodovia dos Tamoios, or Via Dutra and the Cunha mountain road. Fly into GRU or CGH.
